PAMELA IZZARD born in London - 1926. Studied at Beckenham & Bromley Schools of Art under Carel Weight & Ruskin Spear. Exhibited at numerous mixed exhibitions, including The Royal Academy, Duncan Campbell Contemporary Art, Royal Society of British Artist, Curwen Gallery Academicians Choice -Eye Gallery- Bristol & Federation of British Artists - London, Hunting Group exhibition finalist, BBC - Leeds. Known for her abstract works her early work, however, was more closely related to the quotidian experiences of life. It was when she began to paint and teach again, after rearing her three children, that her mind went through an intellectual upheaval, demanding that her work came to terms with modern thought.
