DOROTHY SHORTLAND was born 1908 and lived in Rothwell, Northamptionshire. She was a self taught painter and a member of the Free Painters and Scultors and an associate of Societe ses Artistes Francais. She showed at the Paris Salon, RI, SWA and elsewhere. She had a series of solo exhibitions, including the Mall Galleries, the provinces and in France.
