ARCHIBALD ZIEGLER, N.A.R.C.A.(Lond.), b. 1903. Painter in watercolour and oil, portrait sculptor. Born in London June 21 1903. Studied at Central School of Arts & Crafts & at the R.C.A.under Sir W.Rothenstien (1927-30). Lectured on Art History at Morley College, visiting instructor St. Martins and W.E.A. Exhibited widely in the provinces and London including many one-man shows: Adams Gallery, Wertheim, Arcade, Leger, Berkley Campbell and Franks and Ben Uri Gallery. Exhibited also at the Royal Academy and was the first living artist to be given an exhibition at Kenwood House.
